Thanks to Element, the Dark Reign Ventrilo server is online;

In my many years of experience with Ventrilo, I think it is best to have a Push to Talk key, which can be changed in [Setup], I recommend the Caps Lock key, as it is easy to press to talk with either your little finger or your ring finger on your left hand.

To Setup Ventrilo

-- Download and Install the client version of your choice.

Create a Username that corresponds to your Dark Reign playing name.

Click the little arrow [->] next to Server to add a server.

Click [NEW]

Name it DarkReign

Type in vps.gr as the Hostname.

Type in 3784 as the Port Number.

Click Okay.

Click Connect.

Extra Setup Options

Click [SETUP]

Tick [\/] Use Push To Talk Hotkey ( PTT Mode )

Where it says Hotkey, click in the Box then press [Caps Lock] ((Or any other key you wish)), then when you hold down that Key it will transmit your microphone allowing you to talk.

Click the [EVENTS] TAB

Click [ALL NOTHING]

CLICK [OK]

Caps Lock is the best key to use IMO, I have been using Ventrilo for years and years, and the Caps Lock key is the easiest key for me to use, or else you might try using an extra mouse button if you have them. It is completely up to the user, but use a PUSH TO TALK key ... it is a must.
